Valuecom was originally opened as Quantum Marketing Systems in 1992 as a hobby turned part time vocation by our owner Roger Bredow. At that time the Internet was in it's infancy. Our primary business came from individual real estate agents hoping to get a head start on the local competition.

After 4 years of developing small web sites for local clients Roger was recruited to join a group of some of the best internet programmers and began contract work for IBM Interactive Media in Atlanta, GA. During his 4 year tenure at IBM he developed some of the most complex Internet solutions ever created. In addition he is listed on 2 patent applications and has received extensive training in numerous programming languages and software applications.

Since then he has done work for CNN, Sports Illustrated, Keller Williams Realty, Crown Diamond and many others.

In 2001, Lee Bredow joined the team with organizational skills and office management experience. Today she is fully responsible for the success of Gwinnett Online. With many hours of self study she has added HTML to her long list of skills.

In 2002, after a move from Atlanta, GA to Allegan County, Michigan the name of the company has been changed to ValueCom to match it's primary domain name and has added hosting to it's wide array of services.
